Often, people browse the House of Callaway website and wonder, what on earth are seconds and why are they cheaper? Well, here's a blog post to answer this.
Seconds are pads that have been made but are not quite up to standard for some reason. They are fully functional pads but there is usually a flaw in them that prevents us from feeling like they should be sold at full price. Some examples of these flaws are below:
- inconsistent or skipped stitches (aka. my sewing machine ate it)
- a stain on the fabric from the manufacturers of the original fabric sheet
- wonky cutting that has resulted in an asymmetrical finish
- part of the fabric missed being stitched in fully
